Bubble Stitch Baby Blanket
This was such a special project for me, as it was the first of my crochet creations that I made as a gift for my nephew. It took just over 2 months for me to make and as with every, single crochet project, I inevitably ran out of yarn several times. But I was so incredibly proud to have finished my first big project, and to see a picture of my baby nephew snuggled up in something I’d made was incredibly special.

The first few rows were tricky as this yarn was quite dark and it proved difficult in the low light at the poolside during swimming lessons.

The picot edge was a new stitch for me, I was nervous at this point that it looked a mess.
Picot edge ended up looking amazing.
